Why "Indigo"?

The choice of the name “Indigo” is intentional and symbolic. It encompasses elements such as “I,” “go,” “dig,” and “indi,” signifying deliberate and independent action. At Indigo Care Management (ICM), our commitment is to support clients in making intentional decisions regarding their care. We empower individuals to take charge of their well-being by providing them with the tools and support needed to make informed choices.
2: Supporting Independence:
“I” and “indi” in “Indigo” reflect our dedication to supporting independence. ICM values the autonomy of our clients and strives to create care plans that promote as much self-sufficiency as possible. We believe in fostering an environment where individuals can maintain their independence while receiving the necessary support to enhance their quality of life. We partner with you to get you the best possible results. We are collaboriative and education-oriented, not prescriptive.

The term “dig” in “Indigo” encourages a metaphorical digging deep within oneself. ICM understands that true improvements often come from self-discovery and personal growth. 1: Time-Tested Quality and Wisdom: The color indigo symbolizes time-tested quality and wisdom. Indigo plant dye was used by humans as one of the original means of adding color to clothing, and is still used today. As such, Indigo is time-tested. Our Indigo Care Management team brings a wealth of time-tested knowledge to every client interaction, ensuring that our services are of the highest quality and reflect a deep understanding of the complexities of care. We learn a tremendous amount from each of our clients, and honor our clients intelligence and wisdom at all times.
2: Integrity, Spirituality and All Inclusiveness: The color indigo can be interpreted to convey a sense of spirituality. At ICM, spirituality is acknowledged as an integral aspect of health, and includes within it a welcoming of all beings- and a wish for them to all have the best possible health, happiness, and inner peace. We recognize the spiritual dimensions of care, and strive to provide support that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit while always honoring our clients’ personal beliefs and preferences.
