Indigo Care Management was founded by Elizabeth Donnell, a professional gerontologist and Advanced Professional Certified Aging Life Care Manager (CMC). Elizabeth has provided professional gerontology services since 2010 and certified care management services since 2018, bringing more than a decade of leadership and hands-on experience to the aging life care field.
Elizabeth’s professional background spans hospice, home health, senior living, and care management. She has also served with the Harris County Volunteer Ombudsman Program, advocating for older adults and supporting quality care across a range of settings. In addition, she has worked with a large, established care management practice, further strengthening her clinical, operational, and leadership expertise.
A fifth-generation Houstonian, Elizabeth attended The Kinkaid School and later earned her undergraduate degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Southern California. She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Gerontology in 2013, solidifying her academic and professional foundation in aging and elder care.
Coming from a family of engineers, lawyers, physicians, and entrepreneurs, Elizabeth is the first woman in her family to found and lead a business. Her professional mission is to elevate leadership standards within the aging life care industry and to build a nationwide social enterprise that meaningfully improves the lives of older adults, families, communities, and care professionals.
Elizabeth is known for her commitment to individualized solutions, discretion, respect, and clear, timely communication. She is a practical and strategic problem solver who thinks both big picture and outside the box, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes through ethical leadership, strong relationships, and thoughtful collaboration. A lifelong learner and creative thinker, Elizabeth remains deeply committed to expanding and improving the care management services available to aging populations nationwide.
