Ashley Cardoso currently resides in Houston, TX, and holds the position of Client Care Specialist and Executive Assistant for Indigo Care Management. Ashley brings her excellent communication skills, marketing skills, positive can-do attitude, experience in healthcare and geriatric healthcare, experience in intake and phone support, and genuine care and concern for her teammates and the team’s clients. She has been a dedicated healthcare professional since 2009, with a strong focus upon aging life care, geriatric care management and patient care advocacy. Ashley has held titles of Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in the state of Massachusetts, where she excelled in caring for patients of a primary care outpatient department. During those four years, she worked alongside medical providers in the specialties of endocrinology and gastroenterology, further broadening her medical expertise.
Ashley also served as an Intake Coordinator for a non-profit hospice and home care agency in Massachusetts, for nearly two years. In this role, she was a key leader in her department, ensuring the full process of setting up home-based services for their clients with an effective and efficient transition from the facility setting to the client’s home setting. She began her career as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and a certified home health aide (HHA), and gained extensive experience through work in various healthcare settings, including rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, long-term care communities, and memory care units. Throughout her career, Ashley has provided practical and compassionate assistance to all of her clients. Ashley has always loved to see positive outcomes for her clients, and continues to utilize her skills to ensure Indigo Care Management clients are able to improve the quality of their life through care management.
